The Best Way to Start the Day
It’s hard to escape the constant ads about sugary cereals for kids. But even though these cereals might taste really good, they just don’t help our little ones be fueled up to take on a full day of play time and school.
So what should kiddos be eating for breakfast each morning?
I like to recommend a protein rich breakfast. Protein will help to keep the kids feeling fuller for longer, as well as helping keep their blood sugar levels more stable, instead of that blood sugar high then crash, that often accompanies those sugary breakfast alternatives.
Having protein in the morning has also been helpful for my daughter to stay more focused when at school. Since many school aged kids are taking their yearly tests around this time of year, protein rich breakfasts are a fantastic way for them to start the day and be ready for their tests.…
