The traditional french toast recipe is given new life by using one of the bagels from Lift Bridge Bagels.

In a large, shallow bowl, whisk together the egg, milk and vanilla extract, till fully combined.
Place the bagel halves in the egg mixture. Allow it to soak for a couple of minutes on one side, the carefully flip it over, and allow it to soak on the other side for another few minutes.
Preheat a non stick skillet over medium heat. Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add the bagel halves to the warmed pan. Allow the bagel halves to cook on one side till golden brown. Carefully flip over, and cook on the second side till golden brown as well.
Transfer the bagel french toast to a plate. Top with yogurt, berries and a drizzle of honey, if desired.
