Looking for a last minute Halloween treat, and don’t want to blow your healthy eating goals? Then I have the recipe for you!
For this special treat, I am using Lily’s Sweets Chocolate Chips. I was fortunate enough for Lily’s to reach out to me to send me a very cool box of awesome chocolates! I was in chocolate heaven! But even better than that, I love how Lily’s is helping people in so many ways. Firstly, they make stevia sweetened chocolates which is perfect for people who cannot or choose not to have sugar. Secondly, a portion of their proceeds go to help organizations that are researching childhood cancer cures, as well as other life threatening diseases. And thirdly, Lily’s products are non-GMO, Fair trade and gluten free. Now that’s chocolate I can feel good about eating!
Chocolate and Spiderwebs???
This idea for this sweet treat actually comes from my 6 year old and the Pioneer Woman. Yes, it’s true! We were watching an older episode of the Pioneer Woman, and Ree made this chocolate topper that she placed on top of a cup and poured hot chocolate over it. It melted the chocolate and looked so cool! My daughter wanted to make some immediately!
So to give this idea a Halloween spin, I decided to make chocolate spiderwebs! These chocolate spiderwebs can also be placed on top of a cup and hot chocolate poured over the top to melt it. Plus the spiderweb design looks really cool!
