Matcha Mint Chip Protein Balls

A superfood snack with a mint chip twist.

  • 1 cup pitted Dates soft or soaked in hot water for 10 mins then drained
  • 1 tsp organic Matcha green tea powder
  • 1/2 tsp mint Extract
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 tbsp water if needed
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder optional



  1. In a high speed blender or food processor, add in dates and process till a sticky ball forms.
  2. Add in the Matcha, mint extract, cashews and protein powder. Blend again till well combined. Batter should hold together when pressed between your fingers.
  3. If batter is not coming together, add in water and process again. Continue doing this until batter just begins to hold together. You do not want the mixture to be too wet.
  4. Stir chocolate chips into batter.
  5. Take large tablespoons of the batter and form golf-ball size balls.
  6. If desired, roll balls in cacao powder.
  7. Store protein balls in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to 1 week.
