My newest fave chip is made from plantains! Have you ever had plantains before? It looks like a large green banana but it has so many uses. In other countries like Colombia or Venezuela, plantains are used as a mash, kind of like mashed potatoes, or they are use as fritters, or baked or fried to accompany meals. I love using plantains for chips because they become super crispy and they are a blank canvas for any kind of chip flavor that you like.
