A quick, easy and healthy chips alternative that can be made at home in an air fryer!
In a medium sized bowl, toss together the sliced plantains, onion powder, garlic powder and olive oil, till thoroughly coated.
Transfer the seasoned plantains to the air fryer basket, then bake for approximately 10 minutes at 350 deg F, or till golden brown and crispy. You may need to shake the air fryer basket 2-3 times during the baking process to ensure even browning.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container or resealable bag to help retain crispness. The chips may lose a little of their crispy texture but will still be delicious!
