What’s the deal with mindful eating?

You’ve been hearing it everywhere.

“You gotta mindfully eat!”

“Mindfully eating helped me so much!”

“Mindful eating is the way to go!”

But why is mindful eating so important?

Let's face it - we are living busier lives than ever. And it is so easy to ignore our hunger and fullness cues. We rush from meeting to meeting, ignoring the fact that we are starving. We keep eating past feeling full because of social situations and not wanting to appear different.

This leads to under-eating and over-eating, binge and deprivation cycles and overall, an unhealthy relationship with food and your body.

You may start wondering why your body is changing, or not changing. And start blaming yourself and attach negative emotions, like guilt and shame, to the foods that you’re eating.

So, how do we start mindful eating?

How do we cultivate more self-love when it comes to eating?

We can practice this simple mindful eating tip. You don't need anything to start doing this today.

I think you will learn a lot by implementing this tip and the results may surprise you!
